I currently attend Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. I am a undergrad in my senior year with a major of Elementary Education. My current GPA is a 3.56.
Experience
I have been tutoring all my life! I have tutored siblings and children at the elementary school I attended as a child. My SAT scores were a 1430. I have also completed and passed the Praxis 1 with a score of 534. I want to be a tutor because all my life I have wanted to teach. It is why I picked the major that I am currently in and I would love to use the skills that I learn in my various education classes to teach students. I love the moment when students make connections with real life situations and transfer those ideas with educational concepts. I simply want to help students succeed. I have taken many education classes that is relevant to being a tutor. Those classes include: Integrating technology in the classroom, Instructional Strategies for Teaching Mathematics, Legal Aspects of Special Education, Language Acquisitions (teaching reading), a Foundations of Educations class where I had to do observation in a school, along with various subject courses (general education). I have played the cello for over eight years. I have been apart of the inner-city youth orchestra, school orchestra, and a local jazz group.

Hobbies
My hobbies are drawing, reading, writing, and playing the cello.
