I am a Junior at Norfolk State University who has brought their GPA up to a 2.8 and has a goal of getting a 3.0 or better before graduation. I am set to graduate from my University in December 2016.
Experience
I currently Volunteer tutor for student in need of help at my University. SAT and ACT are available with my services and are upon early request. The person must bring their own books that they feel would be useful to them. The reason why I want to become a tutor is because knowledge is power. I love to spread knowledge to help others achieve what they need in life. I have had a copious amount of classes and freelance study when it comes to History. I am proficient in African American Studies, U.S. History, and African and European History. I also mentor freshman students on campus when it comes to social problems and any other types of college experience. Other types of expertise I have are in Psychology, Sociology, Music, Political Science and any other Liberal Arts classes.

Hobbies
I love to listen to all types of music including Alternative Rock, Dance, reggae and reggae-tone, dub-step, hip-hop, pop, and heavy metal. Music branches all cultural backgrounds that separate us. I love knew music and other traditions that help me learn the people that I am in contact with. In order to successfully teach a person a subject, it is best to do it through conversation. Auditory learning is effective through enlightened conversation through the student's personal view. I love to know where the person is coming from, because we are all different, and learn different ways.
