Even though I love math now and want to tutor in subjects such as algebra, trigonometry, and geometry, I haven't always enjoyed it. It wasn't until I entered college that I really began to study mathematics and develop a passion for it. I needed math for my other classes as a biology minor and biochemistry major. I have an amazing academic record with a 3.9 GPA. I currently attend Honors College and have been on the Dean's list for the entirety of my college career. Additionally, I have been admitted to VCU's Pharmacy School. It is my dream to own and operate my own pharmacy. I have been a professional tutor since 2015 and I love it. I enjoy helping my pupils gain confidence in their studies. My students often view math as an obstacle in their lives that just doesn't go away. I strive to show them it is just a skill set that they have yet to learn and that it is actually interesting and fun. My method of teaching involves breaking down tough concepts into smaller steps. I also re-teach my pupils information that often slips through the cracks. I am looking forward to igniting excitement for math in the lives of my students.
