I am a sophmore recreational theraphy major with a minor in special education at Old Dominion University
Experience
I have volunteered with children with disabilities for 10+ years ranging from slecial olympic sports- to being a volunteer teacher assistant in my high schools special education class. I also was a teacher cadet in a fifth grade classroom for a semester my senior year of high school. I also just worked as a summer camp counsler working with children ranging from 9-13 with emotional disorders. I recieved a three on my high schools AP psychology test, with a ACT score of 22. I want to be a tutor because I really enjoy working with children and helping them learn is one of the most important things in life. This semester I am taking a special education class working on child development. I have also taken a psychology class which worked alot with developmental psychology.
