Experience
I've tutored Math and English for all elementary and middle school grades, and I've also taught basic reading skills to both Pre-K and Kindergarten students. I have tutored biology and chemistry at middle and high school levels (including AP/Honors courses), and have tutored for all components of the SAT I (and the SAT II Math subject test). I've also been a Statistics, Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry tutor at the University level. I scored within at least the 90th percentile in each division of the SAT, and have also taken 4 SAT subject tests and the MCAT. I'm currently studying medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical school and so have taken an array of both math and science classes, and I have an extensive background in liberal arts courses and activities, and am also extremely qualified to help with writing, reading comprehension, grammar, and composition. I have several scholarships, including the most prestigious scholarship given to California undergraduates, the UC Regents Scholarship. I have also been a soccer coach for physically disabled children and a dance teacher for girls aged 5-16. I have a lot of experience and I love teaching!

Hobbies
I am, above all else, a little silly and very nerdy - I love to learn and love even more to pass on that learning to others. I've been teaching / tutoring in some capacity since I myself was in elementary school, and education has played a huge role in my life. I'm currently a medical student and hope to one day work as a health counselor for adolescents. I've worked with hundreds of students with a wide variety of personalities, and I've loved all of my experiences as a guide through what can be very difficult material for many. I love to laugh and believe humor - and a little silliness - is the key to being successful both in school and in life. I think learning new things is the most fun thing in the world... at least it can be when you study with me! I look forward to working with you :)
