I am a tutor with a background and passion in Mathematics and Computer Science. I have tutored students in many subjects, including Mathematics, Calculus, Algebra, Statistics, Social Studies, and Philosophy. My personal experiences as a high school dropout turned college student has given me a unique empathy and understanding for the struggles students encounter in academia. No two students are the same and I make sure to determine which course is the best to take for my individual lesson plans. My passion for mathematics and education has helped me learn to imprint the importance of continuing education on to my students, as I believe it is critical for success in life. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Philosophy from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. I went on to earn a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Denver. Recently, I have completed my Ph.D. in Education Policy from the University of Pittsburgh. Outside of academia, I spend my time listening to blues, classical, folk, and rock music. I also enjoy reading about sociology, philosophy, and religion.
