I am a recent graduate from Hampton University. I received my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Community and Social Services. I am a highly energetic, detailed oriented professional who is engaging and enthusiastic in hands-on learning with children. With a desire to work for the betterment of the community, children and adults alike.
Experience
I work part time as a cognitive coach at a treatment center in Virginia Beach called Brain Balance. The center aims at helping improve the lives of children suffering from processing disorders, as well as suffering academically, behaviorally, and socially. My primary responsibilities are guiding these children through specifically planned cognitive activities to stimulate their brains, as well as motivating them to reach their full potential. At Brain Balance i not only am these students cognitive coach but i also assume the role of a teacher/tutor/academic interventionist.
