I am a recent graduate from Hampton University. I received my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Community and Social Services. I am a highly energetic, detailed oriented professional who is engaging and enthusiastic in hands-on learning with children. Experience
I work part time as a cognitive coach at a treatment center in Virginia Beach called Brain Balance. The center aims at helping improve the lives of children suffering from processing disorders, as well as suffering academically, behaviorally, and socially. My primary responsibilities are guiding these children through specifically planned cognitive activities to stimulate their brains, as well as motivating them to reach their full potential. At Brain Balance i not only am these students cognitive coach but i also assume the role of a teacher/tutor/academic interventionist.

Hobbies
I possess an extreme love and passion for children and working with them. I have accumulated nine years of working with children having positions as a preschool teacher, counselor, mentor, and tutor. I thoroughly enjoy working out and staying active. I believe staying active is imperative for healthy brain function. Some of my favorite workouts include walking, dance cardio, and riding my bike. I also believe meditation is important and enjoy it as well. My personal forms of meditation including indulging in a good book, listening to music, and Sudoku.
