I am a strong supporter of academics and furthering yourself through education, however, I also see myself as an adventurous person. My experience ranges from serving in the military to working in China. I have traveled to over 30 different countries and have a strong interest in cultural studies. I am an avid reader and try to teach my students to think outside the box as it makes you a better student and prepares you for many different social and professional situations in life. I feel my age is a strength for high school and college aged students. I am 31 years old so I feel I have enough of a connection to the professional world while at the same time can relate to a younger student.
